ClatterBuck

ClatterBuck was a put together band for the muscial play "The Robber Bridegroom", a romping, frolically story of theives and bandits on the Natchez Trace which runs between Nashville and New Orleans. The production features bluegrass through out. This is the only bluegrass music that I know of that was completely scored and everyone played from the sheet music. After 25 performances, alot of the music was memorized but it was a still challenge to play with numerous key changes during songs. The play was a production by The Colonial Players in Annapolis, Maryland, with Musical Director, Mac Bogert. Allan's bass is made of aluminum.
