None Of The Above

None Of The Above was a very popular bluegrass band in the local Washington DC area that began in May of 1974. The first picture below is only one version of this band as there were several different configurations over the years. This version took first place at the Deer Creek Fiddlers Convention, Westminster, Maryland in the Bluegrass Band, Banjo, Male Vocal, Bass Fiddle, and Potpurri Categories. (Dobro was in the Potpurri Category). The one consistent figure through out all of the different versions was the bass player Bob White who took a very professional attitude towards bluegrass music and None Of The Above. Bob approached the business end of the band with the same enthusiasm as he did with the music and the results were very good for bluegrass and especially bluegrass in Washington D.C.
